One of our Undergraduate Research students and alumna, Jen Bandini '03, has had her portrait included in the Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery Competition 2009.

The office handles on-campus Undergraduate Research concerns, including all research-grant related purchasing, travel reimbursement, check requests, copy requests, and telephone services.

This office is also responsible for publishing the UNC Asheville Journal of Undergraduate Research, the Proceedings of the National Conference on Undergraduate Research, (NCUR) and the Proceedings of the Big South Undergraduate  Research Symposium (BigSURS) which are released September 30th.

 

Senior art student Jason Adams was one of 32 artists out of 417 selected to be in the 24th Annual Tallahassee International Juried Exhibition this year.  An image of Jason's painting entitled "Phase" is featured on the cover of the exhibition catalog.  The opening was this past Friday, August 28th, and showcased artists from all over the country and as far as Switzerland and France.  The exhibition opportunity is open to all artists over 18 years of age around the world.  This year's selections will be on view at the Museum of Fine Arts at Florida State University until September 27th.
