Alumni Affiliates

As a UNC Asheville Alum, you along with your spouse or partner, can purchase a pass to use the Health and Fitness Center facilities here on campus. With your pass, you have access to the weight room, pool and group exercise classes. You also are able to participate in UNC Asheville Outdoor Recreation activities and intramural sports.

To purchase a Health and Fitness Pass, call the UNC Asheville Alumni Office at 828-251-6512.

$100 for 6 months
$200 for 12 months

Alumni without a valid OneCard will not be allowed access to the facilities or permitted to participate in programs.

Alumni forgetting their OneCard should walk back to their cars to get the ID and then present it to the Campus Recreation Staff.

Alumni are not eligible to purchase guest or day passes. Please be sure to have the Alumni Pass on your person at all times in order to recreate at UNC Asheville.

What's Available

Weight/fitness room: elliptical machines, exercise bikes, treadmills, weights (machines and free weights)
Activity courts for basketball, volleyball, badminton and indoor soccer
Three racquetball courts
Indoor walking/jogging track (1/10 mile)
Indoor pool (25 yards)
Dance studio
Locker room facilities

Outdoor Facilities

400-meter track
Softball field
All-purpose field

Group Exercise
Group exercise classes offered on a regular basis may include aerobics, yoga, kickboxing and ab blast. Current Schedule
