Open House is set for October 17

UNC Asheville's Admissions Office will host an open house for high school and transfer students and their families from 8:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 17. Registration will be held at UNC Asheville's Highsmith University Union. Events will take place across campus and include an academic and student organization fair, student-led campus tours and sessions for parents and students on admissions, academic and extracurricular programs, scholarships and other financial aid.

H1N1 Influenza Information for Those Attending Upcoming Public Events
at  UNC Asheville

While the H1N1 influenza appears to be mild in otherwise healthy people, it can spread easily from person to person. Social distancing is one of the best ways to help curb the spread of the flu. Therefore, UNC Asheville health officials strongly discourage members of the public with influenza-like symptoms from attending campus events until they are free of fever for at least 24 hours.
