"Dissonance," featuring oil paintings by UNC Asheville senior Multimedia Arts and Sciences major Jessica Laney, will be on view May 1-19 at UNC Asheville's Blower's Gallery, Ramsey Library. An opening reception will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. Friday, May 1, in the gallery. The show uses animal and human interaction to contrast the concepts of rational and irrational. The exhibition and reception are free and open to the public.
