UNC Asheville’s Mass Communication Department will host a filmmaking workshop for middle school and high school students from 10 a.m.-2 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 24. The workshop will be held on campus and is free of charge.

With the guidance of UNC Asheville’s video production students, participants will produce a short film, which will premiere at the annual Asheville Film Festival in November. Participants are encouraged to bring a bagged lunch and any props they might use in their project. All video equipment is provided.
