"The Three Graces of New Orleans" by Virginia Derryberry

Works by 11 UNC Asheville Art Department faculty members will be featured in a wide-ranging exhibition August 21-September 8 at UNC Asheville's S. Tucker Cooke Gallery. The show kicks off the gallery's 2009-2010 season. An opening reception will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 21, in the gallery.

Participating studio art faculty are Luke Allsbrook, Tamie Beldue, Virginia Derryberry, Robert Dunning, Maury Gortemiller, Karen Ives, Mark Koven, Scott Lowrey, Brent Skidmore, Robert Tynes and Megan Wolfe. Works in painting, sculpture, photography, printmaking, mixed media and ceramics will be on view.
