The North Carolina Center for Creative Retirement will host a panel of local restaurateurs and food aficionados at 7 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 3, at UNC Asheville’s Reuter Center. Panelists will discuss “Healthy Holiday Dining,” followed by a question-and-answer session and a reception with light refreshments. This is the second event in the “Celebrating Life in the Mountains” speaker series. The event is free and open to the public.

Panelists include Jennifer Brewer of Earth Fare Café, Joe Eckert of Laughing Seed Café and Jaime Huffman of Spa Café at the Grove Park Inn. They will give insights into their establishments and offer ideas for tasty and healthy food for the holidays.
