UNC Asheville's 2009-10 Writers at Home Series continues with readings by local authors at 3 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 18, at Malaprop's Bookstore/Café, 55 Haywood St., downtown Asheville. Members of the fall Great Smokies Writing Program Advanced Creative Prose Workshop, taught by Tommy Hays, will read from their work. The event is free and open to the public.

Readers include Geneve Bacon, Marie Hefley, Paula Kane, Gwenda LedBetter, Ted McIrvine, Maggie Marshall, Heather Newton and Nancy Russell-Forsythe.
