UNC Asheville's Writers at Home Series Continues March 15;

UNC Asheville's 2008-09 Writers at Home Series
continues with readings by local authors Holly Iglesias and
Katherine Soniat at 3 p.m. Sunday, March 15, at Malaprop's
Bookstore/Café, 55 Haywood St., downtown Asheville. The event is
free and open to the public.
Iglesias is a published poet and author. Her book "Souvenirs of a
Shrunken World" was chosen as the winner of the Kore Press Book
Award and her second collection of poems, "Angels of Approach," will
be published by White Pine Press. Iglesias teaches in UNC
Asheville's Master of Liberal Arts program.
Poet Soniat has published two chapbooks and four collections of
poetry already published. Her poem "A Shared Life" won the Iowa
Prize and Virginia Prize for Poetry, and "Notes of Departure"
received the Camdem Poetry Prize. Her fifth collection of poems,
"The Swing Girl," is forthcoming from Louisiana State University
Press.
