UNC Asheville Continues Writers at Home Series with Local Authors;
Great Smokies Writing Program Students to Read January 18

UNC Asheville will continue its 2008-2009 Writers at Home Series at 3 p.m. Sunday, January 18, at Malaprop's Bookstore/Café, 55 Haywood St., downtown Asheville. Budding local authors enrolled in the Great Smokies Writing Program will read from their recent work. The event is free and open to the public.

Students in Elizabeth Lutyen's prose master class have been working on novels and memoirs for several semesters. They will read excerpts from these ongoing works. Readers include Julie Abbott, Billie Buie, Judi Goldenberg, Hollie Greene, David Guinn and Pam Ruatto.
