Older adults can go back to school this fall at
UNC Asheville’s nationally renowned College for Seniors. More than
90 courses are available during the fall term from September
21-November 13. Classes will be held at UNC Asheville's Reuter
Center, home of the North Carolina Center for Creative Retirement.
Students can explore everything from the architecture of Asheville
to elder law. History courses can be mixed with recreation,
literature classes with personal development, finance courses with
contemporary issues, or music classes with science. There's
something for everyone, and no tests or grades are given.
Cost for College for Seniors is $115 for limitless courses. Students
must also pay the $50 annual membership fee to the North Carolina
Center for Creative Retirement. Membership benefits include a campus
parking permit, access to the University library, discounts on
special events and more.
Class size is limited; early registration is suggested. For more
information or to register, call 828/251-6140 or
