UNC Asheville's Board of Trustees will hold a special meeting from 3:30-4:30 p.m. Tuesday, July 7, at UNC Asheville's Phillips Hall, room 117. The purpose of the meeting is to elect officers for 2009-10. Portions of the meeting may be closed to the public under the provision of the North Carolina Open Meetings Act.

The UNC Asheville Board of Trustees has 13 members; eight are appointed by the UNC Board of Governors and four are appointed by the governor. The UNC Asheville Student Government Association president, who is elected by the student body, also sits on the board.
