UNC Asheville’s Alpha Xi Delta Sorority will collect stuffed animals and nonperishable food items 7-8 p.m. Wednesday, Sept. 17, in front of the University's Dining Hall. Alpha Xi Delta will donate the stuffed animals to Asheville’s Guardian Ad Litem Program, which is a state funded, volunteer organization for abused and neglected children. The group will donate the food items to Manna Food Bank.
