Works by UNC Asheville art students and recent
graduates will be featured in the Selected Student Exhibit on view
August 14-September 9 at UNC Asheville's Highsmith University Union
Gallery. This fifth annual exhibition showcases upper-level student
work produced in the past year. A closing reception will be held 5-7
p.m. Friday, Sept. 5, in the gallery.
Participating artists are Molly Braswell, Byron Browne, Rebecca
Campbell, Carley Durgins, Heather Egger, Jason Emory, Melissa Engler,
Larkin Ford, Celia Gray, Katie Hill, Rebecca vonSeldeneck-Houser,
Monica Miller, Liz McCarthy, Angela Polly, Ben Reid, Jason Sabbides,
Tom Schram, Olivia Schumate, Kyle Stephens and Angie Williamson.
Works in drawing, painting, sculpture, ceramics, mixed media and
photography will be on display.
The gallery is located on the lower level of UNC Asheville's
Highsmith University Union. It is free and open to the public 9
a.m.-9 p.m. weekdays when classes are in session. For more
