The Flute Choir will perform March 16

UNC Asheville's Music Department will continue its spring concert season with two performances in March. The concerts will be held in UNC Asheville's Lipinsky Auditorium. Tickets are $5 general admission at the door.

The University Concert Band, Percussion Ensemble and Flute Choir will perform at 4 p.m. Sunday, March 16. The student groups will perform traditional and contemporary pieces, including "Echoes in the Wind – A Native American Soliloquy," "Danny Boy" and "Gandalph." Directors are John Entzi, Matthew Richmond and Judi Lampert.

The University Singers and String Quartet will take the stage at 4 p.m. Sunday, March 30. The groups will perform vocal and instrumental selections under the direction of Melodie Galloway and Inez Redman.
