Jonathan Frappier

Jonathan Frappier was recently named Major Gifts Officer at UNC Asheville. His primary focus is identification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of appropriate major and planned gift prospects for the University.

Frappier served most recently as director of development at N.C. Stage Company where he established and led all aspects of the development program, including donor relations, sponsor events and subscriber benefit programs. He also designed and produced, "No Shame Theatre," the Stage Company's monthly community open-mic night. Previously, Frappier was a professional actor with more than 80 productions to his credit in television, film, commercials, voice-over and theatre.

Frappier is an active member of the community. He serves as chair of the Asheville Affiliates, a member of the Asheville Area Arts Council Arts-in-Education Grant Panel, and is an adjudicator for the North Carolina Theatre Conference Regional High School Play Festival.

Frappier holds a bachelor's of fine arts degree from the North Carolina School of the Arts. He and his wife Jen Lepkowski, a professional photographer, live in West Asheville.
