Works by 10 UNC Asheville Art Department faculty members will be featured in a wide-ranging exhibition August 22-September 23 at UNC Asheville's S. Tucker Cooke Gallery. The show kicks off the gallery's 2008-2009 season. An opening reception will be held from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday, Aug. 22, in the gallery.

Participating faculty are Tamie Beldue, Virginia Derryberry, Robert Dunning, Karen Ives, Scott Lowrey, Brent Skidmore, Rylan Steele, David Tillinghast, Robert Tynes and Megan Wolfe. Works in painting, sculpture, photography, printmaking, mixed media and ceramics will be on view.

Located on the first floor of Owen Hall, the S. Tucker Cooke Gallery is free and open from 9 a.m. to
