UNC Asheville's student chapter of the United States Institute of Theater Technology (USITT) will hold an ArtsFest from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Saturday, April 5, on UNC Asheville's A.C. Reynolds Green, located behind Ramsey Library. A host of student organizations will participate. The event is free and open to the public.

Highlights of the event will include a performance by UNC Asheville's All Girl Staff and a display of student artwork. The event will culminate in a silent auction of items including paintings, prints, jewelry and pottery donated by local businesses and artists. Proceeds will benefit the UNC Asheville USITT student chapter's travel fund to attend the national theater technology conference.

USITT is a national organization of professional theater technicians and designers who network and learn about new advances in theater technology.
