UNC Asheville's Professional Education Programs Office will offer a continuing education program for professional accountants on Friday, Nov. 9. Classes will meet from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at UNC Asheville's Owen Conference Center. A continental breakfast will be available starting at 7:45 a.m. Classes will be taught by highly qualified professionals from local firms, the District Attorney's Office and the Asheville Police Department.

Participants will attend four classes: Occupational Fraud and Abuse; Fraud in Nonprofits; How to Work with the Police When a Fraud is Uncovered; and Case Study: See-Through Radiology.
Accountants who attend the classes will earn four hours of Continuing Professional Education credit.
Cost for the program is $100, which includes continental breakfast. Registration deadline is November 6.
