UNC Asheville's Writers at Home Series Wraps Up May 20;
Local Writing Students to Read

UNC Asheville's 2006-07 Writers at Home Series will wrap up with student readings at 3 p.m. Sunday, May 20, at Malaprop’s Bookstore/Café, 55 Haywood St. Members of Elizabeth Lutyens’ Great Smokies Writing Program advanced prose workshop will read from their work. Writers at Home is part of the Great Smokies Writing Program, a consortium of Western North Carolina writers and UNC Asheville. The event is free and open to the public.

Students of “Hanging in There: An Advanced Prose Workshop” have met for 15 weeks to develop their work. Members of the class include Julie Abbott, Christopher Ansaldo, Billie Buie, Nancy Forsythe, Carrie Frye, Linda Gillespie, Hollie Greene, David Guinn, Gwenda LedBetter, Kristen Luther, John Malone and Pam Ruatto.
