Interested in earning a master’s degree in planning but don’t want to travel far for classes? The Asheville Graduate Center wants to hear from you.

The Asheville Center is conducting a survey to determine the interest in a master’s degree in planning from Appalachian State University with classes held on the UNC Asheville campus.

Proposed curriculum will include planning aspects and applications, land use controls, project management, group facilitation methods, and planning history and theory. A special focus will be placed on community economic development, environmental and natural resource planning, transportation planning and emergency management.

Surveys will be accepted through November 3. To fill out the survey online, click on www.unca.edu/agc. For more information or to request a paper survey, call the Asheville Graduate Center at 828/251-6099 or e-mail amlytle@unca.edu.
