UNC Asheville Wraps Up Philosophy Lecture Series May 2

UNC Asheville senior philosophy major Shane Perlowin will wrap up the University’s annual philosophy lecture series with a talk on “Cage’s Music and Kant’s Notion of Pleasure” at 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 2, at UNC Asheville’s Kellogg Center, 11 Broyles Rd., Hendersonville. An open discussion will follow his talk. The event is open to the public. A donation of $5 will be suggested at the door.

The program is the final installment of a year-long, nine-part series co-sponsored by
UNC Asheville’s Philosophy Department and the Institute for Applied Philosophy. Each year, the popular series is designed to foster discussion of philosophically significant issues.
