UNC Asheville to Host Summer Employment, Choosing a Major Fair

Community members and alumni are invited to join UNC Asheville students at two Career Center Fairs covering a variety of employment and educational opportunities.

More than 65 organizations are scheduled to participate in UNC Asheville’s Summer Jobs and Internship Fair from noon to 3 p.m. Tuesday, February 21, in UNC Asheville’s Highsmith University Union Alumni Hall. Participants will learn more about part-time jobs, seasonal positions and internships. The event is sponsored by UNC Asheville’s Career Center and UNCA Outdoors.

UNC Asheville’s Career Center will host a Choosing a Major Fair from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Tuesday, February 28, in UNC Asheville’s Highsmith University Union Alumni Hall. Participants will learn about the various majors offered at UNC Asheville, finding an internship and applying a liberal arts degree to an occupation. The event is sponsored by UNC Asheville’s Career Center and Advising and Registration Services.
