UNC Asheville Chancellor Anne Ponder Featured in September Issue
of "Our State"
Asheville native Anne Ponder set out for
college in 1967, and 39 years later is back in her beloved mountain
city to serve as UNC Asheville’s sixth chancellor. Her coming home
story is featured in the September issue of Our State, the popular
full-color North Carolina magazine. The profile, by noted Asheville
author Tommy Hays, provides an intimate look at Chancellor Ponder
and the future of UNC Asheville.
