Nallan, UNC Asheville associate professor of psychology, was recently selected as one of just 20 professors nationwide to attend the Japan Studies Association’s Freeman 2006 Summer Institute on Japan. The three-week intensive will be held at Tokai University in Honolulu this summer. Nallan, who joined UNC Asheville’s faculty in 1988, holds a doctorate in learning-physiological psychology from the University of Kentucky. His research interests include human and animal learning, memory and cognition, and the history of psychology.
