“Creating Identity,” an exhibition featuring five mixed media sculptures by UNC Asheville senior Kore Io Eliza McWhirter, will be on view June 23-July 3 at UNC Asheville’s Owen Hall Second Floor Gallery. An opening reception will be held from 6-8 p.m. Friday, June 23, in the gallery. The show is the culmination of McWhirter’s work toward a bachelor’s degree in art from UNC Asheville.
