“Subconscious Matters,” an exhibition featuring some 20 mixed media paintings by UNC Asheville senior Michael Patrick McConnell, will be on view September 22 to October 2 at UNC Asheville’s University Gallery. An opening reception will be held from 6-8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 22, in the gallery. The show is the culmination of McConnell’s work toward a bachelor of fine arts degree from UNC Asheville.
