UNC Asheville’s Board of Trustees will hold a special called meeting, the main purpose of which is to consider recommendations for tuition and fees for the 2007-08 academic year. The meeting will be held immediately following the December Commencement Ceremony at 12:15 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 16, in UNC Asheville’s Health & Fitness Center room 203.

The meeting is open to the public. Portions of the meeting may be closed to the public under the provision of the North Carolina Open Meetings Act.

The UNC Asheville Board of Trustees has 13 members; eight are appointed by the UNC Board of Governors and four are appointed by the governor. The UNC Asheville Student Government Association president, who is elected by the student body, also sits on the board. The UNC Asheville Board of Trustees promotes the sound development of the University and serves as advisor to the Board of Governors and the chancellor.
