UNC Asheville will host two senior student art
exhibition openings Friday, May 5. Both shows are free and open to
the public.

“Dogmatic,” an exhibition featuring some 130 photographs and 25
ceramic pieces by UNC Asheville senior Cheryl Andrews, will be on
view May 5-16 at UNC Asheville’s University Gallery. The show is the
culmination of Andrews’ work toward her bachelor of fine arts degree
at UNC Asheville. An opening reception will be held from 6 to 8 p.m.
Friday, May 5, in the gallery, which is located on the first floor
of Owen Hall.

“Fuse,” a photography-based multimedia exhibition by UNC Asheville
senior Lacey Haslam, will be on view May 5-12 at The Wedge Gallery,
115 Roberts St. in the Asheville river district. The show is the
culmination of Haslam’s work toward her bachelor of fine arts degree
at UNC Asheville. An opening reception will be held from 6:30 to 9
p.m. Friday, May 5, in the gallery.
