N.C. Center for Creative Retirement Hosts Trip to Canada;
Theater and Music Excursion Open to All Ages
The N.C. Center for Creative Retirement is hosting a
seven-day trip to visit theater and music venues in Ontario, Canada. The
June 17-24 tour is open to travelers of all ages.
The excursion begins in Toronto where travelers
will attend a performance of the Toronto Symphony Orchestra in Roy
Thomson Hall. The next stop is Stratford, where the group will attend
two Shakespeare plays, a Noel Coward play and the musical “Hello Dolly.”
The tour concludes with one day in Niagra-on-the-Lake to attend the Shaw
Festival, where travelers will see performances of Shaw’s play “You
Never Can Tell” and the musical “Gypsy.”
An optional one-day extension is available for
those interested in visiting Niagra Falls, the Welland Canal and the
Niagra Peninsula wine district.
Cost for the tour is $920 per person, double
occupancy. Price does not include airfare.
The group is limited to 20 travelers. Reservations
are on a first-come, first-served basis with a $200 per person deposit.
Full payment is due on April 1.
