"Saddle Up, Podner" Painting Exhibition Opens at
UNC Asheville's University Gallery
An exhibition entitled “Saddle Up, Podner: Naked
Ladies Going West,” featuring seven large oil on panel paintings by UNC
Asheville senior Jean Shepard, will be on view May 13-24 at UNC
Asheville’s University Gallery. The show is the culmination of Shepard’s
work toward her bachelor of fine arts degree at UNC Asheville. An
opening reception will be held from 6-8 p.m. Friday, May 13, in the
gallery, which is located on the first floor of Owen Hall.
The gallery is open from 9 a.m.-6 p.m. weekdays.
