UNC Asheville Hosts Exhibition of Silver Gelatin Prints

“Omens,” an exhibition of 20 silver gelatin prints by Sylva artist Vicki Provost, will be on view through January 28 at UNC Asheville’s Blowers Gallery. The images capture various potential omens, including Provost’s family and community members as well as animals and plants.

Provost, who holds a master’s degree in studio art from Western Carolina University, is an adjunct art professor at Western Carolina University. This is her second solo exhibition.

Blowers Gallery, located on the main floor of UNC Asheville's Ramsey Library, is open during regular library hours. For hours of operation, call UNC Asheville's Ramsey Library at 828/251-6546.
