"Atmospheric Conditions" Ceramics Exhibit Opens
at UNC Asheville
An exhibition entitled “Atmospheric Conditions”
featuring some 60 functional ceramic pieces by UNC Asheville senior
Heather Newman, will be on view April 27-May 15 at UNC Asheville’s
Highsmith University Union Gallery. The show is the culmination of
Newman’s work toward her bachelor of fine arts degree at UNC Asheville.
An opening reception will be held from 6-8 p.m. Friday, April 29, in the
gallery.
The gallery is located on the ground floor of UNC
Asheville’s Highsmith University Union. The gallery is free and open to
the public from 8 a.m.-midnight Monday through Friday and 10
a.m.-midnight Saturday and Sunday.
