UNC Asheville Chancellor Search Committee to Hold Public Forums January 25-26The UNC Asheville Chancellor Search Committee is seeking comment from the community and University alumni, students, faculty and staff concerning the qualities and characteristics that should be considered in selection of UNC Asheville’s next chancellor. The committee will hold four public meetings to collect comments that will be used to develop criteria for the search process. Each public meeting will be geared to a different constituency, but participants are invited to attend any session that is most convenient. A student meeting will be held at 6 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 25, in Highsmith University Union room 221. A staff meeting will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 26, in Laurel Forum, Karpen Hall. A faculty meeting will be held at 3:45 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 26, in Laurel Forum, Karpen Hall. A meeting for alumni and the community will be held at 5:15 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 26, in Laurel Forum, Karpen Hall.
