UNC Asheville Students Inducted into National Honor Society in PsychologySome 43 UNC Asheville students were recently inducted into Psi Chi, the psychology national honor society. Those inducted were: Melissa Beaver, Erin Bee, Tiffany Boone, Rebecca Bostian, Ashley Bowman, Sarah Broughton, Andrew Callanan, Heather Carr, Ashley Cole, Kevin Dolinger, Michelle DuBois, Maureen Doran, Julie Enloe, Cassandra Gilbert, Shelley Haney, Colleen Hannush, LaTanya Harris, Lacy Hoyle, April Jones, Stephanie Jones, Victoria Jones, Kerrylin Lambert, Kristen Matson, Molly McLaren, Molly McTighe, Jennifer Meadows, Sarah Mills, Jennifer Milton, Whitney Nave, Suzanne Noran, Kyle Ott, Rebecca Piatt, Jennifer Ponder, Sarah Powell, Wendy Punshon, Laura Redmon, Schon Rittenhouse, Julia Robinson, Angela Trull, Emily Tseng, Amy White, Robbie Wilson and Megan York. Psi Chi was founded in 1929 to encourage excellence in scholarship and to advance the science of psychology. Membership is open to graduate and undergraduate students who are majoring in psychology and have an overall grade point average of 3.0 or better. With over 1,000 chapters, Psi Chi is the nation’s only psychology honors society. UNC Asheville’s chapter was founded in 1975. Media Contacts:
