UNC Asheville to Host Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Meeting

UNC Asheville will host a meeting of the Western North Carolina chapter of the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) at 7 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 18, in UNC Asheville’s Dining Hall, private dining room 100. The meeting will feature a roundtable discussion of engineering careers followed by a question-and-answer session. The event is free and open to the public but registration is required.

IEEE is the world’s largest technical professional association. Members work in various technical areas ranging from computer engineering, biomedical technology and telecommunications to electric power, aerospace and consumer electronics.
