UNC Asheville to Host Talk on Catholic Social Teaching

UNC Asheville’s Philosophy Department will host a talk by Rev. David A. Boileau on “Catholic Social Teaching” at 7 p.m. on Monday, March 14, in UNC Asheville’s Highsmith University Union Swannanoa Room. The talk is free and open to the public.

Boileau currently serves as chair of the Loyola University New Orleans Philosophy Department. A specialist in social ethics, Boileau has published articles on discrimination, equality and social justice. He recently published three volumes of essays on the centennial of Louvain University’s Philosophy Institute. Boileau is currently preparing a volume on Cardinal Mercier’s philosophical essays as a study in Neo-Thomism.
