UNC Asheville Offers Standardized Test Prep ClassesRegistration is now open for SAT, LSAT and GRE test prep classes offered by UNC Asheville’s Office of Special Academic Programs. All classes will meet from 6-9 p.m. on the UNC Asheville campus. The SAT prep course will be held on Mondays and Wednesdays from October 11-27. The SAT is a standardized test required by most undergraduate colleges and universities for admission. Cost for the course is $275, which includes study materials. The LSAT prep class will meet Mondays and Wednesday from October 11-November 17. The course is designed to prepare students for the December 6 LSAT, a standardized exam for admission to all 201 Law School Admission Council member schools. Cost for the course is $500, which includes study materials and practice disk. The GRE prep course will be held on Tuesday and Thursdays from October 12-November 4. The course is designed to increase familiarity with the various types of verbal, quantitative and analytical questions present on the GRE computer-generated general test, a standardized test required by most graduate programs for admission. Cost for the course is $325, which includes study materials and practice disk.
