UNC Asheville Offers Stage Management Class

UNC Asheville will offer a stage management class from 4:30-5:45 p.m. on Tuesdays and Thursdays August 19-December 1. The class is offered as part of UNC Asheville’s regular fall semester curriculum.

The class will train students in the classical methods of stage management. It will be taught by adjunct instructor Peter Carver who has worked as a stage manager for the Oklahoma Shakespearean Festival, Tulane Summer Lyric Theatre, Red Noses, Southern Appalachian Repertory Theatre and Ballet Warraba.

Students must apply to the university as a non-degree seeking student. Cost is $20 application fee and approximately $424 for in-state tuition. Students, who meet North Carolina residency requirements, will earn three UNC Asheville credit hours in drama. Information on out-of-state tuition is available upon request. Deadline to apply as a non-degree seeking student is July 1.
