UNCA's Creative Writing Program Seniors to Give Readings

UNC Asheville's Creative Writing Program seniors will give readings of their recent work at 3 p.m. Sunday, April 25, at UNCA's Laurel Forum, 139 Karpen Hall. The event is free and open to the public.

Participating students are Beau Gildersleeve, Rebecca Guthrie, Caroline Rhyne and Shawna Turner.

UNCA's Creative Writing program offers students the opportunity and incentive to develop their writing skills in a workshop setting and to support that writing with a strong background in literary studies. The program seeks to foster confident undergraduate writers who work with a sound knowledge of their own literary tradition and who can produce works of publishable quality.

For more information, call UNCA's Literature and Language Department at 828/251-6411.
