"Within These Hills," an exhibition presented by Carolinas' Nature Photographers Association, will be on view April 3-28 at UNCA's Blowers Gallery. The exhibition features more than 100 photographs taken by 27 different photographers, illustrating the beauty, diversity and fragility of the Southern Appalachians.

"Within These Hills" is a traveling exhibit which showcases the natural features, flora, and fauna of the Carolinas and the Great Smoky Mountains through images and informational text.

Carolinas' Nature Photographers Association was founded in 1992. The organization's objective is to promote nature photography and to help conserve and preserve the diverse natural ecosystems in the Carolinas. The association also serves as a tool to educate people interested in nature photography.

Blowers Gallery, located on the main floor of UNCA's Ramsey Library, is open during regular library hours. For hours of operation, call UNCA's Ramsey Library at 828/251-6546.
