UNCA to Host "Good Company" Dance Performance

UNC Asheville's Dance Program will host "Good Company," a collection of contemporary dance performances, at 8 p.m. Friday, Jan. 30, in UNCA's Lipinsky Auditorium. This one-night only performance will feature the work of seven Asheville-based choreographers, including Amanda Bowen, Susan Haines, Kathy Meyers, Renee Redrick, Zoe Schieber and Connie Schrader. Tickets are available at the door and are $8 for general admission.

The family-friendly program will feature a range of performers, including student dancers and community performers. "The choreographers are committed to the joy of creating. The show is truly a collaborative effort," said Connie Schrader, dance program coordinator. "The pieces range in tone from high-energy techno- to meditative and mellow."
