UNC Asheville Holds Free Concert Series

UNC Asheville will hold a series of three free lunchtime musical concerts on Wednesdays from August 25-September 8. The concerts will be held at 12:20 p.m. in UNC Asheville’s Lipinsky Auditorium. The series, sponsored by UNC Asheville’s Music Department and the Cultural & Special Events, is free and open to the public.

The series includes:

August 25 -- Jazz performance by pianist Pavel Wlosok

September 1 -- Chamber music performance by Trio Appassionata

September 8 -- Performance of musicals, classical art songs, opera and folk idioms by tenor William Martin and pianist Vance Reese
