UNCA to Host Reading and Book Signing by

UNC Asheville will host a reading and book signing by poet Adrian Blevins at 7 p.m. Thursday, Feb. 19, at UNCA’s Reuter Center Chestnut Ridge Room. The event is free and open to the public.
Blevins, a native of Virginia, earned graduate degrees from Hollins University and Warren Wilson College’s M.F.A. Program for Writers. She received the Rona Jaffe Writers’ Foundation award for poetry. Her book "The Man Who Went Out for Cigarettes" was a Bright Hill Press award winning chapbook. Blevins first full-length book, "The Brass Girl Brouhaha," was published in 2003.
The event is sponsored by UNCA’s Literature Club and The Creative Writing Program at UNCA.
