"Belleza di Italia" Multi-media Installation on View
in UNCA's Blowers Gallery

"Belleza di Italia," a multi-media installation coordinated by UNC Asheville junior history major Emily Collins, will be on view through March 30 at UNCA's Blowers Gallery. The installation features photos taken by 10 UNCA students who participated in UNCA's first Perugia, Italy, Summer Program held in June 2003. The exhibition was inspired by a museum exhibit the students visited in Siena, Italy.

Students who provided images for the installation include: Zach Allen, Tara Barone, Christina Brooks, Emily Collins, Tami Manella, Elizabeth Poole, Jennifer Rogers, Kristen Ruggeri, Amanda Teer and Ashley West. All honed their skills in Italy while taking Alan Hantz’s "Essential Skills in Digital Imaging" course.
