UNCA Offers LSAT Prep ProgramUNC Asheville will offer an LSAT prep program beginning in May. The six-week course will be held from 5:30-9:30 p.m. on Tuesdays beginning May 4. Classes will meet on the UNCA campus. The course is open to all interested students and is offered through UNCA's Special Academic Programs. The program is designed to prepare students for the June 14 LSAT, a standardized exam for admission to all 201 Law School Admission Council member schools. Instructor Brian Butler is a UNCA Philosophy Department faculty member and serves as the pre-law student advisor. He holds a doctorate in philosophy from Claremont Graduate University and a doctorate in law form the University of Chicago. Cost for the course is $500, which includes study materials and practice disk. A $10 late registration fee will be added after the registration deadline of Friday, April 23.
