Brevard High School Wins 37th Annual UNC Asheville Knowledge Bowl

The final round of the 37th annual UNC Asheville Knowledge Bowl was held Saturday, Nov. 6, on the University campus. Brevard High School took first place. The winning team received $400 and the opportunity to move on to a national competition.

Second place went to Hendersonville High School and Highland School of Technology took third place.

The competition began with 27 teams battling for a spot in the final rounds. Eight teams qualified for the double elimination finals. Each school sent teams of six students to answer an array of questions written by UNC Asheville faculty members on topics ranging from science and mathematics to history and literature.
