UNC Asheville Board of Trustees to Meet in Retreat

UNC Asheville's Board of Trustees will meet for a retreat and meeting on Tuesday, Nov. 9, at the Governor's Western Residence, 45 Patton Mountain Rd. The Board will meet for breakfast at 8 a.m. and will participate in a retreat beginning at 8:30 a.m. Because much of the day will be devoted to the Board Retreat, no official actions will be taken by the Board until the official meeting convenes at 2:45 p.m. The meeting, which will also be held at the Governor's Western Residence, is anticipated to conclude by 4:30 p.m.

At 6 p.m. Board members will gather for a reception and dinner in the Reuter Center's Chestnut Ridge Room on the UNC Asheville campus.

Certain agenda items may be considered in closed session, under provisions of the North Carolina Open Meetings Act.
