UNC Asheville Board of Trustees to Meet August 24-25

UNC Asheville's Board of Trustees will meet Tuesday and Wednesday, Aug. 24-25, on the UNC Asheville campus.

The board will meet at 1:15 p.m. Tuesday in the Ramsey Library Red Oak Conference Room. The following committees will meet: Academic and Student Life; Finance and Real Property; Alumni and Development; External Affairs, Community and Public Partnership; and Audit.

A reception and dinner for trustees will be held at 6 p.m. in the private dining room of the Dining Hall. A tour of the new Highsmith University Union will follow.

On August 25, the board will meet for breakfast at 8 a.m. in the Highsmith University Union Blue Ridge Board Room. The meeting of the full board will convene at 9:15 a.m.

The meetings are open to the public. Some items on the agendas of these meetings may be considered in closed session under the provisions of the North Carolina Open Meetings Act.
