UNCA Board of Trustees to Meet May 7

UNC Asheville’s Board of Trustees will meet Friday, May 7, on the UNCA campus.

Beginning at 9:15 a.m., the Academic and Student committee and Alumni and Development committee will meet in the Ramsey Library Red Oak Conference Room.

The board will then break to attend the fourth annual Donning of the Stoles Ceremony, which honors UNC Asheville’s graduates of color. The ceremony will be held at 12:15 p.m. in the Laurel Forum, Karpen Hall.

Beginning at 1:15 p.m., the Finance and Real Property committee will meet in the Ramsey Library Red Oak Conference Room.

The final portion of the meeting will begin at 2:15 in the Ramsey Library Red Oak Conference Room.

The meeting is open to the public. Some items on the agenda of their meeting may be considered in closed session under the provisions of the North Carolina Open Meetings Act.
